About The Position

The Seasonal Warehouse Associate supports operations at Nordstrom’s Midwest Fulfillment Center in Cedar Rapids. The role involves accurately auditing inventory and orders, processing and assembling orders, and packing and shipping them efficiently. Employees work in a climate-controlled environment with high safety standards, follow job rotation and assigned work areas, complete receiving and/or shipping documentation, and use standard operating procedures and reference aids. The position also involves researching and resolving issues and communicating suggestions for improvement to leadership. The posted hourly pay range is $21.60–$23.35, with starting pay of $21.60 per hour. Some shifts include a differential: B Shift pays an additional $0.75 per hour and C Shift pays an additional $2.00 per hour. Available schedules are Tuesday–Friday, 5:30 a.m.–3:30 p.m. (A Shift); Tuesday–Friday, 4 p.m.–2 a.m. (B Shift); and Saturday–Monday, 6 a.m.–6 p.m. (C Shift).

Ability to repeatedly bend, reach, stand, walk, and lift 50-pound boxes without difficulty.

Responsibilities

Ensure inventory and orders are accurately audited, processed, assembled, packed, and shipped efficiently.
Follow job rotation and work in designated areas within the department and building.
Perform material handling, including repetitive bending, reaching, standing, walking, and lifting boxes weighing up to 50 pounds.
Complete receiving and/or shipping documentation as required.
Follow standard operating procedures and reference aids, identify areas for improvement, and communicate suggestions to leadership as appropriate.
Research and resolve issues using appropriate resources.
