Warehouse Associate - Michigan (Holman Powertrain)
About The Position
Holman Powertrain has a great opportunity for a Warehouse Associate to join our team in Michigan! The role involves various warehouse tasks including positioning bar coding on incoming parts, allocating required parts to job/work orders, maintaining mechanics materials, pulling and staging parts, receiving packing slips and verifying quantities, and shipping parts to customers. The associate will also be responsible for collecting and packaging inventory for shipment, checking in delivered vehicles, and adhering to safety policies and clean initiative standards. This position requires the ability to lift up to 50lbs without assistance and up to 100 lbs. without assistance.
Requirements
- Prior warehouse experience
- Pallet Jack/Forklift Experience
- Experience with wireless inventory system is desired.
- Experience with UPS or FedEx shipments is desired.
- Basic computers skills.
- Good attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills
- Positive energy while working in a team setting
- Technical knowledge.
- Must be able to lift up to 50lbs without assistance and up to 100 lbs. without assistance
Responsibilities
- Properly position bar coding on all incoming parts and equipment.
- Allocate required parts to job/work orders and complete requisitions for parts shortages.
- Maintain mechanics materials and orders based on pick sheets.
- Pull and stage parts for job/work orders.
- Receive packing slips and verify quantities for parts against purchase orders.
- Responsible for the shipment of parts to customers.
- Collect and properly package inventory and purchased items needing shipment.
- Properly check-in and move vehicles delivered.
- Comply with the company’s safety policies and clean initiative standards.
- Perform all other duties and special projects as assigned.
