About The Position

Cardinal Health’s Warehouse Operations team handles manual and automated tasks involved in receiving, storing, and shipping products, supporting the efficient movement of goods from vendors to internal and external customers. The Warehouse Associate performs assigned warehouse operations, including order fulfillment, product handling, inventory control, and maintaining a clean and safe workplace. The position works in a refrigerated environment and may require training and certification to operate material handling equipment.

Requirements

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
Comfort working regularly at heights of 20–30 feet.
Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift.
Willingness to work overtime as needed.
Ability and willingness to work in refrigerated conditions of 36°F–42°F for up to 10 hours or longer.
Ability to follow directions and change priorities.
Good verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to work in a fast-paced distribution environment while meeting performance quotas and attendance requirements.
Ability to learn and apply warehouse procedures and maintain any required licenses, training, and certifications.

Nice To Haves

Experience with technologies such as computers or point-of-sale systems.
High school diploma or GED.
Warehouse experience.

Responsibilities

Fulfill orders by accurately picking products, performing quality control checks, packing products, and preparing orders for shipment.
Cross-train in multiple warehouse areas and participate in projects as needed.
Perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Train and obtain certification to operate material handling equipment as required by job duties.
Perform assigned warehouse operations within facility guidelines and established quality standards.
Communicate effectively and follow directions, changing priorities as needed.
