About The Position
Exegistics Resource Solutions is seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team in the Park 100 area of Indianapolis. This role is responsible for receiving, processing, and organizing inbound freight while ensuring accuracy and efficiency in all warehouse operations.
Requirements
- Good reading, writing, and basic math skills
- Basic computer proficiency
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to problem-solve and follow established procedures
- Capable of working in a fast-paced environment and handling multiple tasks
- Ability to distinguish between similar products (size, color, vendor codes, etc.)
- Previous warehouse or receiving experience preferred
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred, or comparable work experience
Responsibilities
- Receive and process all inbound freight shipments accurately
- Verify merchandise against purchase orders, packing slips, and system data
- Sort packages by vendor and purchase order
- Repalletize freight as needed for storage and putaway
- Enter shipment data into the warehouse computer system, including item, quantity, and specifications
- Deliver paperwork and packing slips to the Control Desk when required
- Identify priority shipments and ensure immediate processing
- Unload trucks safely
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Assist with special projects and perform additional duties as assigned
