About The Position

OnTrac is hiring seasonal package handlers to help move packages through its Salt Lake City warehouse during the holiday season. This active, hands-on role involves working with a team to keep packages moving safely and efficiently toward their destinations. No previous warehouse experience is required; training is provided.

The role is seasonal part-time, with a stated season duration of October 27, 2026, to January 1, 2027. The listed shift is 6:30 AM–9:30 AM, with several possible Saturday-through-Wednesday or other five-day schedule patterns. Typical shifts last approximately three to four hours, and end times may vary with package volume and business needs. Overtime may be required when business needs require it. The position is located at 1854 S. 5350 W., Salt Lake City, UT 84104, and pays $17.25 per hour with weekly pay. Seasonal bonus eligibility and terms may vary by location and assignment. Premium pay applies to hours worked on New Year’s Day, Thanksgiving Day, and Christmas Day.

This is a temporary seasonal position. Seasonal employees may be considered for available permanent positions after the assignment ends, based on eligibility and availability; continued employment is not guaranteed.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Be authorized to work in the United States.
• Be dependable and available for scheduled shifts, including weekends or holidays when needed.
• Meet applicable pre-employment requirements, including a background check where permitted by law.
• Be able to work scheduled shifts, including overtime when business needs require.
• Repeatedly lift packages as described in the job posting.
• Stand and/or walk for extended periods during scheduled shifts.
• Frequently bend, twist, reach, push, pull, and squat while handling packages.
• Perform repetitive physical tasks throughout the shift.
• Work in hot or cold environments where warehouse temperature control may be limited.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload, sort, move, and load packages weighing up to 30–50 pounds independently.
• Participate in team lifts for packages weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Keep packages organized and moving safely and efficiently.
• Keep the work area organized and ready for work.
• Work as part of a team to help packages reach their destinations safely and on time.
