About The Position

This position reports to the Warehouse Store Manager while working in a warehouse setting responsible for but not limited to a variety of warehouse functions; pulling orders, receiving, unloading of freight, stocking shelves/racks, will call, and assisting customers and internal associates as needed. This job is designated a Safety Sensitive position.

• Stand, walk and sit throughout the scheduled work shift
• Use of hands for grasping, pushing, and pulling
• Ability to stoop, bend and twist
• Work in a constant state of alertness and safe manner
• High School diploma, GED, or equivalent education/experience
• 2-3 years of previous warehouse experience is required
• 2-3 years of sit-down forklift experience is required

Responsibilities

• Participate in warehouse operations involving receiving, processing, pulling orders, loading trucks, and stocking inventory
• Receive, identify, mark and place materials sent to the warehouse according to established procedures
• Maintain a variety of records, orders, bill of ladings, proof of deliveries (PODs), will calls, files, reports, and records of stock
• Perform inventory management and cycle counts
• Keep warehouse clean and organized on a daily basis
• Assist counter sales associates and store manager when necessary
• Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
• Foster a safe working environment with goals of zero lost time and zero recordable incidents
• Participate in safety training
