About The Position

Empire Auto Parts is seeking a dependable, team-oriented Warehouse Associate with a can-do attitude to join their team. As a key link between the company and its customer base of collision repair shops, the Warehouse Associate will play a crucial role in ensuring efficient operations. The goal for each Warehouse Associate is to be a team player and be able and willing to go the extra mile.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to multi-task and be detail-oriented
• Must be able to engage in frequent, repeated, rapid, and/or strenuous physical activity for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and knowledge of how to lift and carry objects safely, cautiously, and effectively
• Must be able to safely operate equipment, observe safety procedures, and meet safety requirements
• Ability to operate a forklift, hand truck, pallet jack, and other warehouse equipment
• Adequate knowledge of warehouse data system

Nice To Haves

• Possess a friendly and sincere demeanor
• Previous experience or knowledge of auto parts
• Forklift training and certification is a plus
• High school diploma or equivalent is a plus

Responsibilities

• Processing, packing, and shipping orders accurately
• Organizing stocks and maintaining inventory
• Inspecting products for defects and damages
• Examining ingoing and outgoing deliveries
• Organizing warehouse space
• Receiving, unloading, and placing incoming inventory items appropriately
• Checking, verifying, and filling customer invoices
• Abiding by all company safety and hygiene regulations
• Keeping warehouse clean and organized daily
• Performing duties as assigned by supervisor
• Staging, loading, and unloading parts
• Stocking, locating, and maintaining warehouse inventory
• Pulling orders for delivery and shipment
