About The Position

The Fulfillment Specialist works in a warehouse environment receiving, picking, packing, inspecting, and shipping customer orders. The role supports timely, efficient, and accurate order processing, maintains organized inventory and a clean, safe work area, and assists with receiving, inventory, and kitting tasks. Kitting may involve sitting for the duration of the task. The position requires lifting items up to 60 pounds and following written work instructions and safety procedures.

Requirements

• Ability to speak and read English.
• Ability to read, understand, and follow written work instructions in English, including safety instructions, operating procedures, policies, and other job-related documentation needed to perform essential functions.
• Ability to understand and follow directions.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Ability to work in a team environment and communicate and interact with all levels of team members within the organization.
• Ability to commit to an AM schedule, Monday through Friday, with possible overtime.
• High attention to detail.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Physical endurance and ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Tolerance for repetitive activity.
• Punctuality and reliability.

Responsibilities

• Work with a team to process customer orders in a timely, efficient, and accurate manner.
• Assist in the kitting area by packaging single parts into new parts; this task requires sitting for its duration.
• Select, inspect, and package products for shipment according to customer needs.
• Use computers, tablets, and other technology to prepare and ship orders.
• Inspect items for damage or defects.
• Keep products organized and in good rotation.
• Follow safety protocols and report problems to help mitigate safety issues.
• Operate equipment such as pallet jacks, pallet wraps, shrink wrap, and picking carts.
• Identify opportunities to improve efficiency using a continuous improvement mindset.
• Assist with inventory tasks as needed.
• Assist with receiving tasks as needed.
• Combine existing products to create new products for customers as part of kitting.
• Lift items weighing up to 60 pounds.
• Maintain a clean, sanitary, and safe work area.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
