About The Position

At Foundation Building Materials (FBM), Warehouse Associates help keep operations running smoothly by receiving, organizing, and safely loading materials. The role is part of a fast-paced, hands-on team focused on integrity, reliability, customer service, and career growth. Associates provide service to customers entering the warehouse, maintain knowledge of products, and support the orderly movement and storage of materials. They also help maintain a clean and safe warehouse, follow safety requirements, attend required training, and perform other assigned duties.

Requirements

High school diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience and/or training.
Use proper lifting procedures when pushing, pulling, lifting, or carrying materials weighing approximately 100 lbs.
Building supply warehouse experience is strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide service to customers entering the warehouse and maintain a high level of customer focus.
Maintain a full understanding of products by identification, weight, and size.
Perform minor building maintenance when necessary.
Receive, organize, and move incoming materials, and load outgoing materials.
Allocate and move materials to their correct locations and keep the warehouse orderly.
Maintain packing specifications and prepare suitable skids and pallets.
Participate in monthly and/or annual physical inventories.
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
Follow safety protocols and OSHA requirements, use proper lifting techniques, and wear appropriate personal protective equipment, safety shoes, and clothing.
Attend and participate in required company training programs.
Support company values of safety, customer focus, teamwork, and integrity.
Perform other duties as assigned.
