About The Position

This is approximately a 90-day job assignment that could go longer but is not promised. It is a contract-to-direct hire position based on attendance and performance during the first 90 days. The role involves supporting the Bin Maintenance team and performing various warehouse activities. An onsite interview is required.

Requirements

• Prior experience with cycle counting and/or inventory control.
• Warehouse experience
• Motivated Team Player
• Picking
• Packing
• Sorting
• Cycle counting
• Put away
• Comfortable lifting 50lbs
• Open to operating equipment like stock chasers (stand-up tugger)
• Using handheld RF scanners.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Cycle Counting
• Inventory Control
• Previous logistics or distribution experience will be required.
• Knowledge of the general warehouse industry, best practices, and techniques.
• Knowledge of Quality Management Systems.
• Familiar with Warehouse Management System functionality – SAP preferred.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to obtain all Dangerous Goods Certifications.
• Fluent in English.

• Use of pallet rider and/or forklift (plus)

Responsibilities

• May be required to process shipment of federally regulated Dangerous Goods.
• Responsible for meeting/maintaining required levels of performance (i.e. quality, productivity, etc.) within the area of assignment.
• Comply with the company’s Value-Added Production System (VPS) within the assigned area.
• Required to maintain essential supplies on assigned equipment and/or work area.
• Ensure a safe and clean environment is always maintained.
• Performs other duties as assigned by the group’s supervisor.
