About The Position

The Warehouse Associate supports the team and customers by accurately and safely receiving and pulling orders in a fast-paced environment. The role is based at Horizon San Diego, 7366 Engineer Road, San Diego, California 92111, and is scheduled Monday through Friday, 7:15 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. The position is safety-sensitive. The listed pay range is $20.00–$23.00 per hour, with eligibility for performance bonuses, including up to $2,500 through summer bonuses.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• Ability to maneuver heavy objects, some weighing up to 100 pounds.
• Ability to follow and carry out instructions with minimal supervision.
• High school diploma or GED.

Nice To Haves

• Prior forklift experience.
• Prior experience in distribution, general labor, or warehousing.

Responsibilities

• Accurately pull, fill, pack, and prepare orders for delivery or pickup.
• Assist with loading the delivery truck.
• Receive shipments and enter them into inventory; maintain inventory through audits.
• Communicate positively with supervisors, sales staff, coworkers, and customers to coordinate deliveries and pickups.
• Operate a forklift safely and efficiently, maintain required certification, perform vehicle safety checks, and report discrepancies to a supervisor.
• Help keep the facility clean, neat, safe, and operating efficiently.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
