About The Position

Russell Plywood, a Division of Würth Baer Supply Company, is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate for their Reading, PA location. This role involves working with heavy plywood boards, picking, packing, shipping, receiving, loading, unloading, palletizing, and banding/strapping orders. The position requires experience operating a 3-pedal sit-down propane forklift with a specific clutch, brake, and gas pedal configuration. The company is a leading specialty wholesale distributor to the woodworking industry and is part of the global Würth Group.

Requirements

• Experience using a 3-pedal sit-down propane forklift with a left-to-right configuration of clutch (inching pedal), brake, and gas.
• General proficiency operating forklifts with this type of foot pedal layout.
• Ability to handle heavy plywood boards, some weighing over 100lbs.
• Must pass a 14-panel drug test, including all forms of THC.

Responsibilities

• Picking, packing, shipping, receiving, loading, and unloading of heavy plywood boards.
• Palletizing and banding/strapping plywood orders.
• Operating a sit-down propane forklift with a 3-pedal configuration (clutch, brake, gas).
• Sliding heavy plywood boards (8 to 12 feet long, 4 to 5 feet wide, some over 100lbs).
