About The Position
Gordon Food Service is seeking a 1st Shift Warehouse Order Picker for their Distribution Center in Shepherdsville, KY. This role is crucial to the company's success in delivering seamless order processing and delivery. The position involves being on your feet for 10 hours, lifting up to 100 pounds, and working in a freezer environment. No prior experience is required as comprehensive training is provided. The pay starts at $20.90/hour, with opportunities to earn more based on production and efficiency, including two pay raises in the first year. On average, selectors earn 122% of their base salary.
Requirements
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work holidays, weekends, and overtime as needed.
- Ability to work in extreme cold or hot conditions.
- Must be able to read, write, and communicate in English.
- Successfully pass a drug test.
- Successfully pass a background check.
- Ability to be on your feet for 10 hours.
- Ability to lift up to 100 pounds.
