About The Position

The Warehouse Associate helps keep warehouse operations running smoothly by filling, packaging, and shipping customer orders accurately and on time, and by ensuring incoming products are received and handled correctly. The role involves coordinating product handling through appropriate scheduling, communication, and procedures, while supporting customer service and warehouse safety. Requirements

Good computer knowledge and skills, with the ability to learn First Supply LLC’s business system.
Good organizational skills for managing paperwork and time.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple interruptions.
Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds.

Experience with handheld RF units.

Responsibilities

Use a radio-frequency (RF) gun to fill, package, and acknowledge shipments for orders accurately and on time.
Process incoming product promptly and accurately, checking for damaged products.
Determine the status of an order at any given time.
Answer telephone calls politely and promptly, provide accurate answers, take messages, or refer calls to the appropriate person.
Follow tag-and-hold procedures for incoming shipments and keep the hold area clear and accessible.
Follow special instructions associated with orders.
Report quality or inventory discrepancies to the Warehouse Manager or Inventory Control Specialist.
Apply the appropriate shipping label to outbound material.
Ensure documents and system records match the actual quantities and items picked.
Keep the warehouse clean and organized.
Follow all safety procedures.
