Warehouse Associate
About The Position
As a Warehouse Associate, you will be trained in distribution center organization, order fulfillment, and daily routines. You will help ensure that completed orders and customer experiences reflect the company’s mission and standards by receiving, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products. The role involves working in a warehouse environment that may be extremely hot or cold and dusty. Long and varied hours are occasionally required, and employees must be able to work mandatory physical inventory. Travel is not required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED, or six months of related experience and/or training, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Demonstrated good time-management skills.
- Strong planning, organizational, and execution skills.
- Ability to set goals and meet deadlines.
- Excellent customer service skills.
- Ability to take ownership of assigned responsibilities and complete work correctly and promptly.
- Proactive and positive team approach to problem resolution.
- Ability to establish strong working relationships with coworkers and management.
- Ability to use common-sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagrammatic instructions.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
- Strong mathematical skills, including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing using fractions and decimals.
- Ability to read and interpret invoices and packing slips.
- Ability to work mandatory physical inventory and occasionally long and varied hours.
- Ability to work in extremely hot or cold environments and dusty conditions.
- Ability to regularly sit, talk, and hear; frequently sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, climb, or balance; frequently lift or move 20–25 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 50 pounds.
- Close vision and ability to adjust focus.

Responsibilities
- Read customer, work, shipping, and transfer orders to determine products to move, gather, or distribute.
- Move materials and products from receiving to storage or other designated areas.
- Scan, sort, and place materials on racks, shelves, or bins according to distribution center locations.
- Assemble customer orders from stock and place them on pallets or shelves, or convey them to packing or shipping.
- Prepare parcels for mailing.
- Complete cycle counts and verify stock quantities when requested.
- Perform other assigned duties or projects.
