About The Position

Warehouse Associates handle freight and products in a distribution center or warehouse, performing activities such as loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and transporting goods. The role requires working cooperatively with other associates and productively with little supervision, while following company safety policies and procedures. Associates may perform additional duties assigned by a supervisor.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Must pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Must be able to perform physically exerting duties in a warehouse environment that may not be air-conditioned or heated.

Nice To Haves

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
• Computer experience, such as using order management systems including WMS.

Responsibilities

• Perform warehouse functions such as order picking.
• Load trucks, taking the weight, size, and characteristics of products into account.
• Use handheld scanners and equipment to comply with the warehouse management system.
• Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
• Help keep the facility clean, neat, and orderly.
• Provide outstanding customer service by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work promptly.
• Follow company or site-specific safety policies and guidelines to help ensure safe working conditions for self and others.
• Perform additional duties assigned by a supervisor.
