About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for the day-to-day tasks related to inbound and outbound operations, including receiving, order selecting, unloading, loading, put-aways, replenishments, and sanitation. Requirements

High School Diploma from an accredited school or general education development (GED) certificate.
6+ months of relevant experience
Forklift experience
Ability to operate all types of warehouse machinery, stand-up and sit-down forklifts, long and short pallet jacks, manual jacks, computers, copiers, and other business equipment
Ability to work with a diverse population
Good verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex information clearly
Strong customer service skills and willingness to assist others
Ability to work on and adapt to multiple tasks with attention to detail and accuracy while adhering to deadlines in a high-energy, fast-paced environment
Able to work cooperatively and coordinate well with other departments, partners, and neighbors
Proactive self-starter who is self-motivated to contribute to the team
Strong time-management, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Ability to work independently with minimum supervision
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Is legally able to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

Experience in food warehousing, retail, or food distribution preferred
Must complete HFB Powered Industrial Truck (Forklift) training and certification within 30 days of hire date

Responsibilities

Reliable, consistent, attendance is a requirement.
This position requires punctuality and dependable attendance to meet the needs of the business, including attending and taking part in meetings and presentations.
Follows all company safety policies and procedures, including wearing required personal protective equipment (PPE).
Ensures warehouse procedures, guidelines, and policies are met.
Complies with food safety and sanitation procedures.
Efficiently operates computer systems with minimal direction.
Ensures product is received, unloaded, loaded, and stored securely packed and accurately labeled.
Meets the minimum department productivity expectations.
Identifies overages and missing or damaged products.
Fulfills order selections and completes put-aways and replenishments.
Inspects incoming products, labels them, and prepares them for shipping or storage.
Assists in reconciling and maintaining an accurate inventory by accurately selecting orders and not damaging product.
Communicates efficiently with management and teammates.
Assists with training new employees.
