About The Position
Boyd Thermal by Eaton is seeking a Warehouse Associate to provide materials (extrusion, stampings, etc.) needed to process work orders and support all departments of manufacturing. This role involves tight control and management of inventory across two on-site warehouses, order fulfillment, and the use of warehouse software systems. The associate will ensure a high degree of detail and focus to select the correct parts for picking, work efficiently with other warehouse associates and departments for timely product delivery, manage customer service requests promptly, and resolve issues quickly. Maintaining a neat and orderly work area and inspecting tools and equipment are also key aspects of this position.
Requirements
- HS Diploma, GED, or Equivalent Experience
- Ability to work as a Team contributor
Nice To Haves
- Experience in manufacturing inventory control
- Experience with Oracle
Responsibilities
- Ensures the issuing of all materials for work orders for all manufacturing shifts according to the oldest work order kit date.
- Works with other associates and Warehouse Lead to ensure inventories are accurate, including daily cycle counts.
- Performs daily computer transactions using Oracle skills.
- Daily work from manager and sups, which may include the preparation and packaging of all sales/work orders per customer specifications.
- Performs daily job related duties, which may include using a forklift, while adhering to Aavid Boyd safety guidelines, as well as being able to lift 35 pounds.
- Maintains excellent attendance.
