About The Position

The Part-time Warehouse Associate works at Fastenal’s branch in Tinley Park, Illinois, handling products as they enter and leave the facility and supporting inventory management for an industrial distributor. The role may include making local deliveries in a company vehicle as needed. Fastenal provides on-the-job, online, instructor-led classroom, and virtual training to help employees succeed and develop.

Requirements

• Must be at least 18 years old due to the nature of the work.
• Must have a current, valid driver's license issued in the country where the job is located, including completion of any applicable graduated licensing program, and meet driving record requirements to use a company vehicle as needed.
• Proficient written and oral communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Ability to learn and perform multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong organization, planning, and prioritizing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Manage and maintain branch inventory.
• Receive, pick, package, ship, and cycle count inventory.
• Make local deliveries with a company vehicle as necessary.
