About The Position

Wurth Baer Supply Company is seeking a Warehouse Order Picker and Packer for their Distribution Center in Vernon Hills, IL. This is a full-time, direct-hire position with year-round work. The role involves picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trailers, and operating equipment. The company is a leading specialty wholesale distributor to the woodworking industry, with significant annual revenue and a broad operational footprint across the United States, and is a subsidiary of the Wurth Group.

Requirements

• 1+ year of warehouse experience in a receiving position with similar duties
• Good communication skills
• Basic computer knowledge
• Sit-down forklift experience

Nice To Haves

• Forklift experience is a plus
• Cherry Picker experience is a plus (order picker with harness)

Responsibilities

• Pick and pack orders on foot with a hand card
• Utilize pallet jack
• Load and unload trailers
• Operate cherry picker with harness to pick or put away materials in the racks
• Roll and pack 3x3 laminate sheets
