About The Position

As a warehouse associate at Floor & Decor, you support the retail location by compiling orders and replenishing and moving merchandise, including stocking the sales floor and loading products into customers’ vehicles. The role includes checking inventory and orders, assisting customers, and operating a forklift. Associates may also be asked to assist in other areas of the store. Full-time and part-time positions are available.

The job involves working in a warehouse environment and around moving vehicles. The work environment is typically quiet to moderate in noise level. Physical duties include lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving objects, as well as frequent standing, walking, reaching, climbing or balancing, and stooping, kneeling, crouching, or crawling.

Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Knowledge of basic math skills.
• Warehouse experience.
• Customer service experience.
• Ability to handle multiple tasks and work well under pressure.
• Completion of forklift certifications through Floor & Decor.
• Where permitted by state law, successful completion of a drug test is required for certification to use heavy equipment.

• Experience with heavy machinery, forklifts, or farm equipment.
