About The Position

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for efficiently handling the day-to-day operations in the warehouse, including receiving, storing, and shipping products. This role requires attention to detail, a strong work ethic, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a high standard of accuracy and safety.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous warehouse or logistics experience is a plus.
Ability to operate warehouse equipment (e.g., forklifts, pallet jacks) preferred.
Strong attention to detail and ability to work with minimal supervision.
Basic computer skills for data entry and inventory tracking.
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends or overtime, as required.

Responsibilities

Receiving and Inspecting Goods: Unload, check, and verify incoming shipments for quality and quantity against purchase orders and invoices.
Inventory Management: Stock racks, bins, pallets with products and materials. Maintain an organized inventory system to track stock levels and locations.
Order Fulfillment: Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment, ensuring all items are correct and safely packed to prevent damage.
Shipping: Prepare shipping documentation, label packages, and coordinate with shipping carriers to ensure timely deliveries.
Safety and Cleanliness: Follow warehouse safety protocols, including proper lifting techniques, safe use of equipment, and maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Equipment Operation: Safely operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery as needed.
Documentation: Maintain accurate records of inventory, shipments, and product locations using warehouse management systems (WMS).
Team Collaboration: Work closely with other warehouse associates, supervisors, and departments to meet operational goals and deadlines.
