About The Position
Join the Birdon team and help ensure USCG boats are safe and reliable! Our Warehouse Associates are an integral piece of our work on a daily basis.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of experience as a Warehouse Associate
- High School Diploma or GED
- Fundamental knowledge in marine or manufacturing industry
Responsibilities
- Receive and process incoming shipments, ensuring accuracy and completeness of orders.
- Prepare and package outgoing shipments, ensuring that all items are properly labelled and packaged for safe transport.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Organize the warehouse for efficient material storage and handling, ensuring that all items are easily accessible and properly stored.
- Operate handling equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, to move materials throughout the warehouse.
