About The Position

Marmon/Keystone, LLC is a well-established metals distributor seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Warehouse Associate. This is an active, equipment-driven role ideal for someone comfortable working in a warehouse environment. The position involves operating industrial equipment to move metal products, preparing orders for shipment, loading/unloading trailers, and ensuring materials are cut to exact specifications. The role requires maintaining a safe workspace and keeping work areas clean. Requirements

  • Ability to read a tape measure and perform basic math accurately.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Proven dependability.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working with heavy pipe & tubing, in an inside and outside environment.
  • Able to work occasional overtime in this fast-paced environment.
  • Works well with others and takes pride in getting the job done right.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work in the United States for any employer.
  • Must be able to stay active throughout the shift.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior warehouse or manufacturing experience strongly preferred.
  • Experience with forklifts preferred.
  • Experience with automated band saws and remote-control overhead cranes preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

  • Operate forklifts and remote-control overhead cranes to move metal pipe, tube, and bar products.
  • Accurately pull, stage, and prepare materials for shipment.
  • Use metal banding and banding tools to make bundles of pipe and/or tubing.
  • Safely load and unload trailers using remote-control overhead cranes and forklifts.
  • Read a tape measure and operate automated band saws to cut material to exact specifications.
  • Verify material measurements, including length, diameter, and wall thickness using a tape measure.
  • Follow OSHA and company safety standards at all times.
  • Keep work areas clean.
