About The Position

The Warehouse Associate prepares customer orders for shipment, picks and packs merchandise, stocks products, maintains accurate inventory records, receives and counts goods, identifies potential inventory issues, and researches discrepancies. The role suits a task- and deadline-driven person who can collaborate in a fast-paced, changing environment and work with minimal supervision. Associates may be asked to perform duties beyond those specifically listed as business needs change. This is a full-time position requiring 40 or more hours per week. Overtime may be assigned as needed, and extended hours may be required. The position is temporary for the first 60 days and becomes a permanent staff position after successful completion of that period. The stated annual base pay range for California hires is $32,240 to $33,280.

Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Organized, with great attention to detail.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to collaborate in a fast-paced and changing environment.
Ability to bend, lift, open, and move products weighing up to 50 pounds.
Ability to stand and walk, bend, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, and talk and hear.
Ability to work extended hours when necessary.
Physical capability to work in conditions normally associated with a merchandise warehouse or distribution center, including warm and cold temperatures.

Nice To Haves

Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Distribution center or warehouse experience.
Knowledge of the apparel industry.
Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
