About The Position

The Warehouse Associate retrieves products, stacks orders for delivery, and monitors inventory levels within the warehouse. The role directs, stocks, selects, and replenishes products. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, starting at 3 p.m. and continuing until the work is finished. Base pay is $17.00 per hour, with productivity-based incentive pay; average pay with incentives is stated as $24 or more per hour, with details discussed during the interview.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Must be able to work the scheduled or assigned times and required overtime for the position.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, stack, and/or pull products from shelves and replenish product at various heights; products weigh 50–60 pounds and generally up to 90 pounds, depending on location.
• Ability to work in multiple temperature environments, including cooler, freezer, and dry areas.
• Ability to obtain certifications for powered equipment, such as forklift operation.

Nice To Haves

• One or more years of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Foodservice distribution or related industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve products according to printed customer orders and pack products.
• Restock order-selection zones as needed and consolidate merchandise.
• Stack orders securely in the sequence of the delivery route.
• Apply shipping ID labels to products and complete inventory-related paperwork.
• Maintain an orderly workstation and return supplies and merchandise to assigned locations.
• Record materials and inventory levels.
• Follow preferred work methods, safety policies, and procedures in accordance with company guidelines.
• Keep the work area safe and immediately report unsafe conditions or acts.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
