This position involves loading, unloading, moving, stocking, and staging products and materials using powered industrial equipment. The role requires maintaining equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion, performing daily equipment inspections, and operating all equipment safely and efficiently according to prescribed work methods and OSHA standards. Responsibilities include unloading inbound shipments, stacking and storing products, pulling and preparing products for shipment, and moving product into transport vehicles. Accuracy in inbound and outbound shipments, reporting quality variances, maintaining inventory control and security through record-keeping, assisting in physical inventories, and ensuring proper stock rotation are also key aspects of the role. The associate will follow customer requirements for loading and unloading, coordinate with other departments, maintain good housekeeping practices, and promote safety by reporting unsafe conditions. Adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices and company safety rules is mandatory. Other duties may be assigned.
