About The Position

Goodwill Columbus is hiring Warehouse Associates to sort, prepare, and move donated goods in a fast-paced warehouse environment. The role also involves riding along from various Goodwill Retail sites to pick up and drop off items in a Goodwill Box Truck. Candidates should be dependable, enjoy active work, and take pride in working as part of a team.

Requirements

• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions.
• Strong work ethic and reliability.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Regularly stand, walk, bend, reach, push, and grasp.
• Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly.
• Ability to perform repetitive movements throughout the shift.
• Comfort working in a warehouse environment with noise and changing temperatures.

Nice To Haves

• Previous warehouse or production experience is helpful, but not required.
• Willingness to learn.

Responsibilities

• Ride along from various Goodwill Retail sites to pick up and drop off items in a Goodwill Box Truck.
• Sort, organize, and prepare donated items for processing and shipment.
• Load textiles and materials into production equipment.
• Move, stack, and organize inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Assist with packaging and shipment preparation.
• Keep work areas clean, safe, and organized.
• Follow safety, attendance, and performance standards.
• Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
