About The Position

As a Warehouse Associate at QXO, you’ll support daily warehouse and yard operations by safely handling, organizing, and preparing building materials for customers and deliveries. You’ll operate forklifts and other equipment, maintain accurate inventory and order documentation, and help ensure a safe, clean, and efficient work environment. The role is full-time, Monday through Friday, beginning at 7 a.m. and continuing until work is done, around 5 p.m. Flexibility to accommodate overtime and weekends may be needed.

Requirements

Experience operating forklifts and other heavy equipment.
Commitment to providing an outstanding experience to customers, vendors, and coworkers through effective verbal and written communication and a customer-first mindset.
Strong attention to safety, organization, and accuracy.
Ability to work effectively in a physically active warehouse and outdoor environment.
Reliable transportation to and from work and ability to regularly work early morning hours.

Nice To Haves

Previous warehouse experience.
Spanish bilingual proficiency.

Responsibilities

Operate forklifts and other heavy equipment to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse and yard.
Work outdoors with exposure to varying weather conditions.
Verify order contents and maintain accurate documentation, including pick tickets and inventory count sheets.
Inspect, organize, maintain, and track inventory.
Commit to safety, diligently follow safety protocols, and wear appropriate PPE.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment, including general cleaning and painting as needed.
