About The Position

Position Summary The Warehouse Associate is responsible for maintaining an organized, safe, and efficient HVAC service warehouse that supports daily field operations. This role ensures technicians have the tools, equipment, materials, and parts needed to complete service work efficiently. Responsibilities include receiving and stocking inventory, organizing tools and equipment, preparing orders for technicians, and maintaining overall warehouse cleanliness and order.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Previous warehouse, inventory, or HVAC industry experience preferred
  • Familiarity with HVAC parts, tools, and equipment is a plus
  • Basic computer skills for inventory systems and email communication
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced service environment
  • Dependable with strong time management skills
  • Forklift certification preferred or ability to obtain certification
  • Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds regularly
  • Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift throughout the workday
  • Ability to work in warehouse temperatures that may vary seasonally

Responsibilities

  • Receive, inspect, and unload incoming shipments of HVAC parts, tools, and materials
  • Verify received items against purchase orders, packing slips, and delivery documentation
  • Organize and stock inventory in designated warehouse locations
  • Maintain accurate inventory counts and assist with cycle counts and physical inventory audits
  • Pull, stage, and prepare materials, parts, and tools for service technicians’ daily jobs
  • Track and organize company-owned tools, equipment, and consumable supplies
  • Ensure all tools are checked in, checked out, and maintained in proper working order
  • Label shelves, bins, and storage areas for easy access and accountability
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse, tool room, and loading areas
  • Assist with loading and unloading service vehicles as needed
  • Coordinate returns, warranty items, and damaged materials
  • Dispose of scrap materials and outdated inventory in accordance with company procedures
  • Follow all company safety procedures, including PPE and safe lifting practices
  • Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks (if certified)
  • Support technicians and service leadership with material requests and urgent parts needs
