About The Position

A Warehouse Associate at American Food & Vending receives, stocks, and picks orders and assists route drivers with loading daily orders. The role includes handling incoming food, beverage, and supply orders; organizing products in refrigerated and freezer environments; maintaining inventory; and keeping the warehouse clean and safe. The associate may also support stock counts, other departments, and team projects as assigned.

Requirements

Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team in a busy warehouse environment.
Physical capability to lift 40 lbs and perform bending, walking, driving, and standing for full shifts.
Reliability and attention to safety procedures.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and willingness to learn new tasks or processes as business needs evolve.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience with warehouse equipment such as forklifts or pallet jacks, or with counter service; experience is preferred but not required, and training may be provided for qualified candidates.

Responsibilities

Receive, inspect, and stock incoming food, beverage, and supply orders from local vendors, ensuring proper documentation and quality control.
Accurately and promptly load daily orders onto box trucks with route drivers, verifying order contents and maintaining organization.
Organize and rotate products in refrigerated and freezer environments, and take detailed inventory while following safety and food-handling guidelines.
Perform general cleaning, including sweeping and mopping floors, sanitizing bins and shelves, and removing trash.
Support other warehouse tasks as assigned, including stock counts, assisting other departments, and participating in team projects.
