About The Position

Warehouse Associates handle loose freight and may load, unload, sort, stage, and transport products into and out of a distribution center or warehouse. They work cooperatively with other associates and productively with little supervision. Following company safety policies and procedures is important to the role.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age.
Pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.
Be able to perform physically exerting duties in a warehouse environment, which may not be air-conditioned or heated and may fluctuate in temperature with the seasons.

Nice To Haves

High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience working in a warehouse environment.
Computer experience, such as using order management systems including WMS.

Responsibilities

Perform warehouse functions such as order picking.
Load trucks while considering the weight, size, and characteristics of products.
Use handheld scanners and equipment to comply with the warehouse management system.
Work cooperatively with other warehouse associates.
Help maintain the facility in a clean, neat, and orderly fashion.
Provide outstanding customer service by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner.
Follow company or site-specific safety policies and guidelines to help ensure safe working conditions for oneself and others.
Perform additional duties as assigned by a supervisor.
