About The Position

Taylor Metal Products is seeking a Warehouse Associate to assist team members with manufacturing, packaging, and warehouse logistics for the production of quality components that meet or exceed company standards and customer expectations. The role is based in Salem, Oregon, and is a full-time, day-shift position. Employees may occasionally be required to assist in other departments.

Requirements

• Basic math skills.
• Written communication skills.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Ability to frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
• Must pass a background check and drug screening for safety-sensitive positions.

Nice To Haves

• High school degree or equivalent.
• Three to six months of manufacturing or warehouse experience.
• Forklift certification; certification can be obtained in-house.

Responsibilities

• Assist team members with manufacturing, packaging, and warehouse logistics.
• Operate hand tools.
• Visually inspect products for quality and defects.
• Take and follow verbal directions.
• Drive a forklift.
• Read a tape measure.
• Maintain compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Occasionally assist in other departments.
