About The Position

As a Warehouse Associate w/CDL, you will play a critical role in ensuring materials are properly received, stored, and delivered safely to our customers. This position combines warehouse operations with commercial driving responsibilities, offering a dynamic and engaging work experience.

Requirements

  • Valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record.
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle safety standards.
  • Strong navigational skills with proficiency in GPS, map reading, and route planning.
  • Ability to operate electric lifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
  • Excellent communication, customer service, and time-management skills.
  • Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb in/out of trucks, and drive for extended periods.
  • Must pass drug test, and all other DOT requirements.
  • Willing to become a member of the Teamsters Union.
  • Ability to perform warehouse duties including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
  • Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.

Nice To Haves

  • Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately for shipment.
  • Receive, inspect, and process incoming freight.
  • Maintain inventory and order information using the company ERP system.
  • Assist customers promptly and professionally.
  • Perform general warehouse tasks, including organizing, loading, and unloading materials.
  • Safely operate Class B commercial vehicles (GVW over 26,000 lbs.) in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
  • Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely and efficiently.
  • Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
  • Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly.
  • Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip reports, and required documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with operations and promptly address any delivery issues.
  • Ensure vehicles are clean, maintained, and properly equipped for safe operation.
  • Observe traffic laws, weather conditions, and company safety guidelines at all times.
