About The Position

As a Warehouse Associate w/CDL, you will play a critical role in ensuring materials are properly received, stored, and delivered safely to our customers. This position combines warehouse operations with commercial driving responsibilities, offering a dynamic and engaging work experience.

Requirements

Valid Class B CDL with a clean driving record.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and vehicle safety standards.
Strong navigational skills with proficiency in GPS, map reading, and route planning.
Ability to operate electric lifts, hand trucks, and pallet jacks.
Excellent communication, customer service, and time-management skills.
Physically fit and able to lift up to 50 lbs., climb in/out of trucks, and drive for extended periods.
Must pass drug test, and all other DOT requirements.
Willing to become a member of the Teamsters Union.
Ability to perform warehouse duties including lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Excellent communication skills and a customer-focused mindset.

Nice To Haves

Minimum of 2 years of commercial driving experience preferred.
High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsibilities

Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders accurately for shipment.
Receive, inspect, and process incoming freight.
Maintain inventory and order information using the company ERP system.
Assist customers promptly and professionally.
Perform general warehouse tasks, including organizing, loading, and unloading materials.
Safely operate Class B commercial vehicles (GVW over 26,000 lbs.) in compliance with DOT regulations and company policies.
Load, secure, transport, and unload materials safely and efficiently.
Follow assigned delivery routes and schedules while ensuring timely and accurate deliveries.
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any mechanical issues promptly.
Maintain accurate delivery logs, trip reports, and required documentation.
Communicate effectively with operations and promptly address any delivery issues.
Ensure vehicles are clean, maintained, and properly equipped for safe operation.
Observe traffic laws, weather conditions, and company safety guidelines at all times.
