About The Position

The Warehouse Associate performs general duties associated with wire cutting and warehouse distribution in a warehouse environment. The role involves operating wire measuring and cutting machinery, reading customer orders, truck staging and loading, safe handling of materials, and general warehouse maintenance. Responsibilities extend to various warehouse departments such as shipping, receiving, order picking, inventory, and delivery, ensuring verification of all transactions, receiving material into the business system, assisting with loading/unloading, and inventory management including cycle counts.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Minimum 1-year work experience.
Basic PC skills with MS Office Products preferred.
Operate computer terminal and other computer related equipment relevant to job duties.
High level of initiative, commitment, and devotion to fulfill company mission statement.

Responsibilities

Operates wire measuring and cutting machinery.
Reads customer orders accurately.
Responsible for truck staging and loading.
Ensures the safe handling of materials.
Responsible for general warehouse maintenance and upkeep.
Perform all requirements of assigned department(s) (shipping, receiving, order picking, inventory, delivery, etc); may provide assistance throughout the warehouse.
Ensure verification takes place on all incoming and outgoing transactions.
Receive material from vendors into the business system and maintains related records.
Assist with loading and unloading of delivery vehicles.
Assist with inventory management including cycle counts.
Implement and follow work procedures and instructions.
Clean and maintain work area to ensure compliance to safety regulations.
Follow all safety policies and procedures and completes the provided training.
