About The Position

Mrs. Gerry’s Kitchen is seeking a Summer Warehouse Associate for the 1st Shift in Albert Lea, MN. This is a full-time, non-exempt position starting in early May. The role involves loading and unloading trucks, rotating inventory, picking and filling orders accurately, and operating a pallet jack/forklift in a cold environment. Requirements

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Obtain forklift and pallet jack license.
• Exceptional organizational skills.
• Keen awareness of surroundings to ensure safety practices and monitor controllables.
• Ability to count products utilizing basic math skills.
• Read, speak, and write English to interpret and communicate with others about documentation.

Responsibilities

• Know and follow HACCP and SQF programs.
• Know and follow all Food Safety procedures.
• Follow all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
• Wear all required personal protective equipment.
• Be familiar with all of Mrs. Gerry’s products being shipped.
• Fill order tickets, plus understand, and organize related paperwork.
• Know code dates and rotate stock.
• Load and unload trucks according to safety standards.
• Communicate shortages and errors effectively.
• Inventory products daily.
