About The Position

This role ensures Mouser meets or exceeds customer expectations by meeting and exceeding established quality and accuracy standards. The associate will strictly adhere to all posted procedures, maintain acceptable attendance, and demonstrate a positive, team-oriented demeanor. Key responsibilities include cross-training in other areas, ensuring a safe working environment, and interacting effectively with others. The role also involves supporting the company's total quality process and continuous improvements. Specific tasks include scanning product and bin barcodes, matching supplier part numbers and quantities to system information, verifying parts in bins, rotating parts for first-in, first-out (FIFO), and using the Warehouse Control System to find alternate locations.

Requirements

  • Able to use a computer, and handheld computer/iPad (preferred)
  • Able to count and match accurately and perform simple math
  • Able to read and understand instructions in English
  • Strong quality and productivity orientation
  • Able to maneuver in aisles 36" wide, stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, grasp, push and pull for 10- 12 hours
  • Able to reach, lift and carry products weighing up to 40 pounds from ground level and up to 2' (using stairs and ladders)
  • Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job
  • Ability to work overtime and weekends
  • High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

  • May be trained to operate a powered industrial truck (such as wave, forklift and/or pallet jack) (preferred)
  • Prior warehouse experience preferred
