About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring Mouser meets or exceeds customer expectations through high quality and accuracy in stocking operations. The associate will strictly adhere to all posted procedures, maintain acceptable attendance, and demonstrate a positive, team-oriented demeanor. Cross-training in other areas is expected, as is maintaining a safe working environment by following safety and housekeeping requirements. The position involves effective interaction with individuals and groups, supporting the company's total quality process, and representing the company professionally. Key accountabilities include scanning product and bin barcodes, matching supplier part numbers and quantities to system information, verifying parts in bins, rotating parts using a first-in, first-out (FIFO) method, and using the Warehouse Control System to find alternate locations when necessary.

Requirements

Able to use a computer
Able to count and match accurately and perform simple math
Able to read and understand instructions in English
Strong quality and productivity orientation
Able to maneuver in aisles 36" wide, stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, grasp, push and pull for 10- 12 hours
Able to reach, lift and carry products weighing up to 40 pounds from ground level and up to 2' (using stairs and ladders)
Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job
Ability to work overtime and weekends
High school diploma or equivalent

Nice To Haves

Able to use a handheld computer/iPad
May be trained to operate a powered industrial truck (such as wave, forklift and/or pallet jack)
Prior warehouse experience preferred

Maintains ESD Control for area, as applicable

Supports and participates in the company’s total quality process, including continuous improvements
Scans product and bin barcodes
Matches the supplier part number and quantity to the system information
