About The Position

This position involves pulling totes and/or packages from a conveyor or pallet, verifying part numbers and quantities for shipment. The role requires confirming that all requested value-added services have been completed and preparing the unit load according to material handling requirements for the respective mode of transport. Responsibilities include preparing and completing required packing slips, shipment bills of lading/manifests, labeling, and any specialized documentation. The associate will select appropriate shipping containers and packing materials, print necessary documents or labels, package orders to prevent damage, and move completed orders to the conveyor or sort material to pallets. Confirmation of shipment in the computer system is also a key duty. Occasionally, the role may involve operating a shrink wrap machine, I-Pak machines, pallet jack, or forklift, provided in-house certification is obtained. The position ensures TTI meets or exceeds internal and external customer expectations for quality, cost, and on-time delivery. It requires meeting established quality goals for "parts per million" errors and productivity goals set by Management. Active participation in job qualification audits and strict adherence to standard operating procedures are expected. Maintaining acceptable time and attendance according to TTI policies and being available for overtime as required by business demands are essential. A positive, team-oriented attitude, collaboration with others, and willingness to accept "other duties as required" are important. The role requires the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, a sense of urgency, and a positive attitude focused on achieving desired results for TTI. Ensuring a safe working environment by adhering to safety policies and notifying management of any observed hazards is crucial. The associate will support daily warehouse department metrics on safety, quality, delivery, and cost, and perform FOD (foreign object detection) and location maintenance to ensure 5S standards are maintained. Active cross-training in other areas is also required.
