About The Position

Continental Battery Systems is seeking an energetic, collaborative, customer-focused employee for a fast-paced organization. This position combines warehouse operations and retail sales. The associate safely recovers used batteries, performs customer installations, and handles shipping, receiving, loading, inventory control, and battery maintenance. The role also involves selling goods and providing a positive customer experience on the sales floor, by phone, or by email. The associate documents processes and procedures and may make occasional deliveries to support customer relationships. The position offers daytime hours, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekends as needed. Pay is $20.50.

Requirements

• Experience with safe forklift driving practices, material handling equipment, and material handling processes.
• Experience providing face-to-face customer service.

• Experience as a warehouse associate is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Safely recover used batteries.
• Perform customer installations.
• Perform warehouse tasks related to shipping, receiving, loading, inventory control, and battery maintenance.
• Record the processes and procedures required to carry out job functions.
• Sell goods and provide a positive customer experience on the sales floor, by phone, or by email.
• Make occasional deliveries to support customer relationships.
• Demonstrate safe forklift driving practices and contribute process improvements.
