About The Position

Core-Mark, a Performance Food Group Company, is part of a Fortune 150 company that provides fresh and broad-line solutions to the convenience retail industry through distribution centers across the U.S. and Canada. The Warehouse Associate – Order Selector retrieves products, stacks orders for delivery, and monitors warehouse inventory. The position directs, stocks, selects, and replenishes products.

Order selectors start at $20.00 per hour. The schedule is Sunday through Thursday, starting at 4 p.m. Electric pallet jack experience is required. The role requires working in cooler, freezer, and dry environments, and the ability to work scheduled hours and required overtime.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• At least 6 months of warehouse order-selector and/or distribution work experience.
• Electric pallet jack experience.
• Ability to work scheduled and assigned times and required overtime.
• Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, stack, and/or pull products from shelves and replenish products from various heights; products weigh 10–35 pounds and generally up to approximately 60–90 pounds, depending on location.
• Ability to work in cooler, freezer, and dry environments.

Nice To Haves

• At least 1 year of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.
• Foodservice distribution or related industry experience.

Responsibilities

• Retrieve products according to printed customer orders and pack products.
• Restock order-selection zones as needed and consolidate merchandise.
• Stack orders securely according to delivery-route sequence.
• Apply shipping ID labels to products and complete inventory-related paperwork.
• Maintain an orderly workstation and return supplies and merchandise to assigned locations.
• Record materials and inventory levels.
• Follow company work methods, safety policies, and procedures.
• Keep the work area safe and immediately report unsafe conditions or acts.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
