About The Position

This role is responsible for ensuring Mouser meets or exceeds customer expectations by meeting and exceeding established quality and accuracy standards. The associate will strictly adhere to all posted procedures, maintain acceptable attendance, and demonstrate a positive, team-oriented demeanor. This position involves actively cross-training in other areas as required, ensuring a safe working environment, and interacting effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization. Other key aspects include contributing to the department's success, willingness to accept and embrace 'other duties as required,' and supporting the overall warehouse team. The role also requires maintaining a professional, neat, and orderly work area, maintaining ESD control as applicable, attending team talks regularly, representing the company professionally, providing customer service excellence, and supporting the company's total quality process, including continuous improvements.

Requirements

Able to use a computer, and handheld computer/iPad (preferred)
Able to count and match accurately and perform simple math
Able to read and understand instructions in English
Strong quality and productivity orientation
Able to maneuver in aisles 36" wide, stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, grasp, push and pull for 10- 12 hours, and reach, lift and carry products weighing up to 40 pounds from ground level and up to 2' (using stairs and ladders)
May be trained to operate a powered industrial truck (such as wave, forklift and/or pallet jack) (preferred)
Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job
Ability to work overtime and weekends
High school diploma or equivalent

Strictly adheres to all posted procedures
Maintains acceptable attendance based on Mouser Absence Policy guidelines, which are measured against the number of unscheduled missed hours. Must be at work on time. Regular attendance at work is an essential function of the job
Demonstrates a positive “team” oriented demeanor and approach toward work assignments. Contributes to ongoing success of the entire warehouse team by willingly accepting and embracing “other duties as required” along with willingness to help the department as a whole
Actively cross-trains in other areas, as required, outside of a primary job function
Ensures a safe working environment for self and others by adhering to established safety expectations and by following established housekeeping requirements. Notifies management of any observed safety hazards
Interacts effectively with individuals and groups inside and outside the organization

Follows appropriate procedures for area
Notifies management of any procedure violations
Maintains a professional, neat and orderly work area, including product of preservation
Maintains ESD Control for area, as applicable

Pulls parts from bin box or shelving
Verifies part numbers, quantity, hardware, date and lot codes
Enters required information in handheld computer/iPad
Repackages product, as requested
Reports issues professionally
Meets customer requirements
Applies and scans barcodes
