This position involves accurately counting and pulling parts, re-verifying part numbers and quantities against orders, entering required information into the system, applying and scanning barcodes, finalizing orders, and placing totes on conveyors. It may also include repackaging remaining parts and returning them to their proper locations. Additionally, the role may involve stocking duties such as scanning products, verifying part numbers and quantities, scanning storage locations, and ensuring parts in the location match those to be stocked. The associate will rotate parts for "first in first out" inventory management, find new locations for parts if needed, and scan them into the new location. Operation of a pushcart and/or carousel may be required. The role emphasizes meeting or exceeding customer expectations for quality, cost, and on-time delivery, achieving quality and productivity goals, participating in audits, and adhering to standard operating procedures. Maintaining acceptable time and attendance, being available for overtime, and demonstrating a positive, team-oriented attitude are crucial. The associate will collaborate with others, accept "other duties as required," work independently with minimal supervision, and maintain a sense of urgency and a positive attitude focused on results. Ensuring a safe working environment, adhering to safety policies, and notifying management of hazards are also key responsibilities. The role supports daily warehouse metrics and performs FOD and location maintenance to maintain 5S standards. Cross-training in other areas is also required.
