About The Position

This position pays $18.65 per hour (including shift premium) with increases at 90 and 360 days if meeting expectations. The role involves pulling totes and/or packages from conveyor or pallet, verifying part number and quantity to be shipped, and confirming value-added services. The associate will profile and prepare unit loads according to material handling requirements for the respective mode of transport. Responsibilities include preparing and completing required packing slips, shipment bills of lading/manifests, labeling, and specialized documentation. The associate will select appropriate shipping containers and packing materials, print required documents or labels, package orders to prevent damage, move completed orders to conveyor or sort material to pallets, and complete shipment confirmation in the computer system. Occasional operation of shrink wrap machines, I-Pak machines, pallet jacks, or forklifts may be required with in-house certification. The role ensures TTI meets or exceeds customer expectations for quality, cost, and on-time delivery, meeting established quality and productivity goals. The associate must adhere to standard operating procedures, maintain acceptable time and attendance, and be available for overtime. A positive, team-oriented attitude, collaboration, and willingness to accept other duties are essential. The associate must ensure a safe working environment, support daily warehouse metrics, perform FOD and location maintenance for 5S standards, and actively cross-train in other areas.

Requirements

High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) is required.
Energetic and goal focused
Effective English communication skills
Basic computer navigation and typing skills
Ability to count accurately and perform simple math
Ability to read English and comprehend simple written work instructions
Ability to lift, push, pull and move objects up to 50 pounds on a frequent basis using proper lifting techniques
Ability to twist, stoop, squat, bend, and reach on a frequent basis
Ability to sit, stand and/or walk for extended periods of time
Ability to climb ladders and stairs
Must be a U.S. Person as defined by ITAR (U.S. Citizen, U.S. Permanent Resident, Political Asylee, or Refugee).

Nice To Haves

Prior warehouse experience is preferred.
May require an in-house material handling equipment license according to the type of equipment being operated and follow defined safety guidelines

Responsibilities

Pulls totes and/or packages from conveyor or pallet, verifies part number and quantity to be shipped.
Confirms all requested value-added services have been completed.
Profiles and prepares unit load according to material handling requirements for respective mode of transport.
Prepares and completes required packing slip, shipment bill of lading / manifest, labeling, and any required specialized documentation.
Selects appropriately sized shipping container and packing material.
Prints required documents or labels.
Packages orders to prevent damage.
Moves completed order to conveyor or sorts material to pallets.
Completes shipment confirmation in computer system.
Occasionally operates shrink wrap machine, I-Pak machines, pallet jack, or forklift with required in-house certification.
Ensures TTI meets or exceeds internal and external customer expectations for quality, cost, and on-time delivery.
Meets established quality goals in relation to errors measured as “parts per million” produced and productivity goals.
Actively participates in job qualification audits and strictly adheres to all established standard operating procedures.
Maintains acceptable time and attendance based on TTI policies.
Available to work overtime as required due to business demands.
Demonstrates a positive “team” oriented attitude and approach toward work assignments.
Collaborates and cooperates with others to complete all work assignments.
