About The Position
The individuals selected for this position are responsible for order selecting and merchandising wholesale products daily. They ensure that we are expediting and stocking wholesale products for our wholesale customers. This role requires attention to detail, physical capability, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. The position involves interacting with computer equipment, TABC stamps, and ensuring the integrity of products during the picking and packing process.
Requirements
- Must be over the age of 21.
- Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
- High school diploma or a general education degree (GED) is preferred, but experience may substitute.
- Ability to read, comprehend and write simple instructions or memos.
- Ability to talk and communicate with coworkers and guests.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide in both whole numbers and in fractions and decimals without the aid of calculator or abacus.
- Responsibility, reliability, and commitment to providing excellent service.
- Patience, friendliness and an outgoing personality.
- Self-starter with a strong work ethic who completes job assignments in a timely fashion and then looks for the next task.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.
- Regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100 pounds with proper tools.
- Ability to use an industrial machine to move pallets up to 2400 pounds.
- Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, depth perception and the ability to adjust focus.
- Previous experience in order picking preferred.
- Familiarity with operating a standing pallet jack and standing fork lift.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet productivity targets.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.

- Previous experience in order picking.
- Familiarity with operating a standing pallet jack and standing fork lift.

Responsibilities
- Order selecting and merchandising wholesale products daily.
- Expediting and stocking wholesale products for wholesale customers.
- Correctly identifying product by sku, size, varietal, and rack bin location.
- Making necessary notes on invoices to show variances, changes, and out of stock products.
- Maintaining control and integrity of pull cart to ensure no product is removed until order is completely pulled.
- Maintaining neat and orderly product rack areas while order selecting.
- Maintaining pull cart staging area to ensure any order can be quickly verified upon checking.
- Packing wholesale order products neatly without damage to ensure integrity of item at delivery.
- Tagging wholesale customers orders according to quantity of shipment.
- Maintaining security and proper usage of all TABC stamps utilized for wholesale customer orders.
- Working with and maintaining TABC stamp guns and machines.
- Restocking supplies and utilizing equipment when needed to ensure replenishment of products in the racks.
- Informing manager/lead of out of stocks or inventory variance on all items.
- Working with and maintaining computer equipment.
- Assisting in prep for inventory and assisting in the inventory process.
- Practicing teamwork and cooperation with coworkers.
- Seeking to continually improve related skills and knowledge to contribute to profitability and productivity.
- Undertaking responsibilities with care and attention to detail.
- Properly utilizing a dolly and/or pallet jack.
- Efficiently carrying out all directives given by the Management Team.
- Working in accord with all safety regulations of Specs Family Partners and OSHA.
