Warehouse Associate / Non-CDL Driver
About The Position
The Warehouse Associate / Non-CDL Driver fulfills customer orders by performing general shipping and receiving tasks, including loading, unloading, checking, and storing materials, and making deliveries to local customers. The role involves safely stocking warehouse materials, pulling inventory for deliveries and customer pickups, operating powered equipment to move inventory and load or unload trucks, accurately completing inventory counts, and delivering products to local customers in accordance with DOT guidelines and regulations. Other responsibilities may be assigned. The position requires regular physical activity, including handling and moving materials, climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, and other activities involving considerable use of the arms, legs, and whole body. The employee must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record.
- Ability to pass a drug test and background verifications.
- Active DOT Medical Card.
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds regularly.
Responsibilities
- Safely stock materials in the warehouse.
- Pull inventory for deliveries and customer pickups.
- Use powered equipment to pull inventory and load and unload trucks for deliveries.
- Accurately complete inventory counts.
- Deliver products to local customers using a non-CDL truck and following DOT guidelines and regulations.
- Perform other responsibilities as assigned.
