About The Position

This role involves various warehouse tasks including order selection, pallet building, and transportation of completed orders. The associate will be responsible for accurately picking and separating products, matching descriptions, and adhering to customer guidelines. Maintaining production standards, minimizing errors, and ensuring good attendance and safe work practices are crucial. The position also requires safeguarding confidential company information and performing other duties as requested.

Requirements

Ability to communicate well with internal customers and management.

Ability to efficiently work independently of direct supervision.
Must be able to carry, lift, and/or move up to 80 pounds.
The associate is frequently required to stand, walk, and climb.
Must be able to lift up to 80 lbs.
Ability to adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

A minimum of six (6) months of previous experience in a distribution center or warehouse atmosphere is preferred.
Previous experience operating powered industrial equipment (i.e., forklifts, pallet jacks, stock pickers, etc.) preferred.

Responsibilities

Pick up proper selecting documents prior to the order selection process.
Select and separate products by account and stop number as designated by the computer-generated label.
Match product description with label description.
Build pallets according to customer guidelines.
Maintain production standards, while minimizing errors.
Transport, via stand-up electric pallet jack, the completed orders to the appropriate staging area.
Return completed selecting documents to proper collection site per Shipping Department specifications.
Perform other duties and special projects as requested.
Maintain good attendance.
Maintain safe work practices.
Maintain safeguards of confidential company information.
