About The Position

Bellmont Cabinets is seeking an Edgeband Operator for its high-performing Machining Department. The role works with raw cabinet components and edge-banding materials to produce cabinetry components with seamless, professional edges. It is suited to a hands-on worker who values craftsmanship, teamwork, quality, and continuous improvement. Comprehensive training is available for the right candidate. The position is full-time at the Bellmont Sumner location in Sumner, Washington. The listed swing shift is 1:45 p.m. to 11:15 p.m. The hourly pay range is $22.19–$24.40.

Requirements

Prior edge-banding or CNC machining experience is beneficial, ideally in cabinetry, wood products, or custom furniture; training is available.
Able to safely lift up to 50 pounds alone; lifts over 50 pounds require team assistance.
Comfortable reading production schedules, job cards, computer interfaces, and small barcodes.
Good attention to detail, strong work ethic, and a team-first attitude.
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

Apply edge banding to cut cabinet components for a polished, professional finish.
Clean and maintain the machine and work area to support safety, efficiency, and quality.
Verify barcodes and the quality of each piece before moving jobs to the next production stage.
Meet daily and weekly production goals while maintaining strict quality standards.
Collaborate with department team members to support production flow and improve quality and efficiency.
Share ideas for improving processes and outcomes, and take ownership of work.
