About The Position

Parts Authority is hiring a Warehouse Associate - Internet Shipper for its Pompano Beach warehouse. The role is responsible for the end-to-end shipping process for picked ecommerce orders, ensuring orders are packed and shipped efficiently, accurately, and on time. The position supports customer fulfillment and requires attention to detail, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work effectively with the internet shipping team in a fast-paced environment. The role may also assist with store or warehouse tasks such as stocking and parts pulling when assigned.

Requirements

Read product identification quickly and accurately.
Work independently with minimal daily direction from a manager to accomplish objectives.
Communicate verbally in a professional and effective manner, using tact and diplomacy.
Be highly organized and detail-oriented.
Meet assigned deadlines and follow written and verbal directions accurately.
Maintain individual productivity and quality standards according to department requirements.
Regularly lift, push, pull, or move objects weighing 10–50 pounds and occasionally lift or move objects weighing up to 100 pounds.
Frequently stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, and reach; occasionally sit, climb ladders or stairs, or balance.
Work in conditions that may involve temperature changes, narrow aisles, or passageways; the work area is protected from weather but not necessarily temperature changes.
Have the vision abilities needed for the job, including close, distance, color, and peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
Demonstrate attention to detail, communication skills, and time-management skills.
Work well under pressure and cooperatively with staff members and supervisors.
Have open availability and be able to work flexible schedules, various shifts, and overtime as needed.
Arrive on time and ready to work and perform in a fast-paced environment.

Nice To Haves

One to two years of warehouse experience preferred.
Previous internet shipping experience is a plus.
Familiarity with warehouse safety measures.
Experience using carrier shipping methods for small-parcel packages.
Basic computer skills.
Flexible schedule and ability to work overtime as needed preferred.

Responsibilities

Pack and ship products of various sizes accurately to meet customer expectations.
Determine shipment methods using software.
Create shipping labels using multiple shipping software platforms.
Maintain a clean work area and meet minimum daily shipping output expectations.
Comply with quality standards and policies.
Assemble cardboard shipping containers and use void fill to protect products.
Examine shipments to ensure they meet specifications.
Maintain confidentiality.
Assist with store or warehouse tasks, including stocking and parts pulling, as assigned.
Maintain and promote workplace safety.
Secure and transfer cash or other assets.
