About The Position

Bausch + Lomb is a leading global eye health company dedicated to protecting and enhancing the gift of sight for millions of people around the world. This role provides components, raw materials, and labels (Kits) to manufacture and bring finished goods, brite stock and returns to the warehouse. The associate will also handle all waste materials (hazardous and non-hazardous), prepare components, and handle returns from the Core. Responsibilities include running the label shuttle, kitting jobs for manufacturing and tjoapack, performing duties in the receiving area, loading and unloading trailers, delivering packages, delivering chemicals, and staging incoming kits.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma.
  • Ability to become certified to drive forklifts and high lifts.
  • Pallet jack, motorized jack, stretch wrap machine.
  • 6 hours of GMP/ISO training, compliance wire training, yellow belt class, at least two tears warehousing experience or equivalent, and trained with MFG kits and forklift experience.
  • Staging and kitting experience
  • Basic computer skills, knowledge of ERPLX or data entry equivalent, Bartender, Documentum, Compliance Wire.
  • Must be able to read, write, and speak English and possess basic math skills.

Responsibilities

  • Material Handling – Operate pallet jack, motorized pallet jack, sit down forklift, high lift and stretch wrapper.
  • Rocon activities/trash removal, tray making, computer entries (ERPLX, Bartender), scanner use, kit delivery, line set – up.
  • Deliver finished goods, brite stock and returns to the warehouse.
  • Follow cooler procedures, enter batch records into Filling and Packaging.
  • Breakdown and clean components for filling kits, and transfer area.
  • Schedule status and Priority Setting.
  • Delivering components to breakdown areas.
  • Labeling Bags, spray down in CTA area, transfer using conveyor from CTA to prep, and handling Returns.
  • Kitting – Study schedule for priority setting.
  • Reserve schedule, update OBT, print picks, pull components, put away returns and incoming components, and build kits.
  • Verify components with BOM in batch records.
  • Re-print pick to merge label and warehouse components.
  • Component break downs on picks and data entry.
  • Cycle counting.
  • Pull pharmacy/compounding kits.
  • Load trucks.
  • Drum handling.
  • Rejects/RFD processing.
  • Pull samples/ITF/sample delivery tickets.
  • All other duties as assigned.
